Empowering Your Prayer Life - Tabernacle Prayer... Try it!

I have recently discovered a great way to increase my prayer time and effectiveness.  I call it "Praying Through The Tabernacle"!  Every piece or article in the tabernacle expresses a distinct type of prayer.  We enter the outer gates with thanksgiving and praise.  We come the the brazen altar, a place of the blood sacrifice.  There were thank Jesus for His great sacrifice, the cross!  Then we move to the brass laver where the priest washed his hands.  It was polished like a mirror.  Here we declare our "Identification in Christ".  The theme of my new book "I Am" Who You Say I Am. ( You can purchase it on Amazon)  Then we move into the Holy Place through the 5 pillars (God's grace)!  To our left is the candlestick representing the light of the Holy Spirit in our life.  We have the 70-fold Spirit of God expressed in Isaiah 11:1-2.  Celebrate this!  Then across from the Menorah is the table of shew bread.  This is the word of God.  Pray through a Psalm or a portion of the word... it's powerful when you do this.  Then we go to the altar of incense.  We interceed for our family, our church, our pastor, our nation and any other intercessory need.  Then we enter the very holy of holies.  This is where the ark of the covenant is located.  Here we worship and very awesome power of God and worship His holiness with all the host of heaven.  Try this great prayer technique.  It can make your prayer time both interesting and very extended.

Praying Through the Tabernacle - It Works!

You Are A Habitation... Not A Visitation!

Why are we asking the Holy Spirit to come? Inviting His presence is assuming He left us.  Are we asking for a greater presence? I don't get it.  What we should be doing is thanking the Holy Spirit for sealing us and indwelling us. Ephesians 1:13-14 "In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory."

We are not a visitation, we are a habitation of His presence and glory. So much worship is misguided and even teaching about the Holy Spirit.  You say, "Jerry, why is this so important to you?" Because this misguided truth robs us of the power of our identification in Christ.  How can we fully embrace, "Christ in me, my hope of glory" if we believe we have to invite Him another time to visit us? Why is this misguided truth taught?  Because we are depending on our emotions.  We want to feel His presence. What we need to do is release His presence that is already inside of us! Our emotions can be deceived. Our flesh is so dependent on what we feel.  But God's truth is not based on our emotions.

Will we feel a release and surge of joy and praise?  Absolutely!  When we embrace the truth of His indwelling us fully and making our "spirit man" totally complete and holy in Christ already, we will often express it with emotional release. But that comes through our declarations and manifestations of His indwelling presence already inside of you. Walking in the Spirit results in "speaking to yourself in psalms, hymns and spiritual songs" continually. Our "spirit man" will literally transform our mind and body in the perpetual joy. Celebrate His presence already inside of you.  He is fully alive in you!  You have been raised with Him in His resurrection.  How great it that!  "If the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead, dwell in you, He will quicken your mortal body, by the same Spirit."  If you really want to feel alive in Christ, began to declare with your mouth this truth and see what happens!  Remember, Christ is already inside of you with all his power and glory.  "Christ in me.. my hope of glory".  Watch this short video if you will please.
