Can You Raise The Dead? You Might Be Surprised!

Having traveled overseas to foreign mission fields these last years, I noticed a distinct difference in operational faith between nationals who live on the edge of life and those of us in America enjoying our comfort zones. These simple nationals who totally depend on God daily for everything, also have operational faith at a high level.  Here where we can drop by a local medical clinic and most of us are within a short distance of emergency medical care. Not so in 3rd world countries.  There they may easily die for lack of care.  But that releases a whole new exercise.  RAISING THE DEAD!  At a large crusade I held north of Mumbai in an area called Navapur, India I met an unknown pastor, short in stature, but big in faith.  He has raised 10 people from the dead, and six days before we arrived he had raised a lady who had been dead for sometime.  She was brought to his village in a wheel barrow.  After prayer and commanding faith, she came back to life.  He accompanied her with her family back to her village and the whole Muslim village turned to Christ.  I asked him, through an interpreter, what affect has raising the dead had in his ministry?  He said he has baptized over 22,000 Muslims.  Entire villages have turned to Christ because of demonstrated miracles, signs and wonders. We in America are comfortable to not put such demanding faith into action. Remember Jesus said, "If you believe, the works that I do, you shall do also, and greater works than these shall you do because I go to my Father."  John 14:12 Perhaps we are afraid it will not work and we might appear embarrased.  We might even think it could weaken our faith if it does not happen.  It is our fears that keep us from stepping out of the boat.  Not so around the world.  We will see more signs and wonders, even in America, among those that are willing to exercise God's transmitted authority on earth. Remember, you have authority if you are under Jesus authority.  It is not our works, but His work through us by faith.

You Can Raise the Dead.. You Might Be Surprised!

Key To Faith is "Receiving"

There is a lot of talk about faith these days. We are told you must believe. I say, "You must receive"!  John wrote, "I am not that light, but have come to bear witness to that light (Jesus)....  That light has appeared unto all men, but as many as receive Him, to them God gives the right to become the children of God."  John 1:12  Amazingly the light of God's presence can be all around you, but you may not even understand it or know it.  The atmosphere of faith can help you come to God, but an open heart to God must accompany knowing what God has said.  The religious leaders of Jesus day witnessed miracles, the resurrection of Lazareth, and healing of blind men, healing people with leprosy, setting the demon possessed free, and many other miracles. Yet they hardened their hearts!  Their religious mindsets kept them from receiving.  It really is a matter of the heart.  Seeking hearts find.  Resisting hearts loose.  Open hearts see.  Closed hearts are blind. Little wonder Solomon of old in his wisdom said, "Protect your heart with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life."  Proverbs 4:23  What can we do to sharpen our spiritual "receptors".  It's like tuning your radio into a clear station.  If it is just off a little from the proper frequency, you get a lot of static!  Our lives can have a lot of static. To remove that static you can do the following:

1. Ask God to open your heart where there have been dissappointments, failures, fears.
2. Have others talk with you and help guide you to greater faith.  They can tell about their
own journey through unbelief to real faith.
3. Music is a softner of the heart.  Certain worship songs and sounds tune us to the
    frequency of heaven.
4. Walk in forgiveness toward yourself and others.  Nothing will choke off faith like bitterness
    and unforgiveness.
5. Read the bible.  It has intrensic power and is life giving.  Just reading it can bring opennes
    to God's voice.

I have included with this post, a short section of my teaching on the book of John.  This 10 minute teaching will help guide you to the importance of not just believing, but "receiving".

Jesus Is The Light

The book of John makes some remarkable statements.  This books gives us revelation on our relationship with the Father and Jesus himself.  John says, "I am not that light, but I have come to bear witness to that light (Jesus Christ), and that light has appeared to all men.  But as many as receive Him, to them God gives the power to become the sons of God."  John chapter 1.  The key to faith and life is "receiving".  Jesus struggled all through this book to get the religious leaders to "receive".  Yet they continually rejected God's revelation.  It was the broken, hurting, hungry, sick and demon possessed that received.  It was those that Jesus called "poor in spirit" and opened their hearts. It is still the same today. Those who are self reliant and proud have no time for Christ.  Their world is filled with themselves and their religious bias and vain philosophy.  Jesus declared, "Come unto me all that are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest."  This short introduction of the book of John is just a piece of the total message you can receive through our Kingdom Life University.  You are invited to consider registering for our school and receiving your training and teaching for "life and ministry".  All of us are in full time ministry if we are a Christian.  Even though we may work a "secular" job, just living our life for Christ in this world puts us in some kind of powerful ministry.  Kingdom Life University is designed to bring the knowledge of Christ into your daily life.  Practical, powerful truth sets you free to find and follow Jesus.

God legally destroyed DEATH!

1. Death's Power.  The first promise God gave to man was a promise of death.  Genesis 2:15 "Then the Lord took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it.  And the Lord God commanded the man saying, 'of every tree in the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die".  Unusual as it may seem God gave a word, a promise to Adam that death would surely follow disobedience. But when God created death IT HAD NO POWER.  Adam would have never tasted death if he would have just obeyed God's word.  Death was created by God without power.  The only thing that could enforce it's power would be if Adam ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Adam did eat and God was obligated to justly keep His word.  God cannot deny Himself. He exalts His word above His name!  He is faithful to Himself and always keeps His word.  So Adam died...that day that he ate along with Eve.  That death was separation from God's presence even though Adam physically lived over 900 years.  But that death was from the daily fellowship of the Father walking with His created man and women in the garden. Death is separation. Spiritual death is man's separation from God's presence.  Physical death is the separation of man's spirit and soul from his body. Adam's sin empowered death's sentence... justice prevailed.

2. Death's Provision.  Leviticus says, "Without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of sin."  The only way to removed sin's power was through the shedding of blood... or death itself.  "And the Word (Jesus ) was made flesh."  John 1:14  Jesus had to become flesh to legally removed death's power!   Romans 5:21 "So that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Jesus must bear in His own body the full payment of all mankind's sin and sickness.  When Jesus cried out on the cross, "It is finished", He was declaring that the full legal payment was now made in His body of flesh through the shedding of His blood... sin's power was broken... so death's power was again powerless.  Jesus obedience removed sin's penalty and the power of death was broken. What the first Adam lost, the last Adam reclaimed!  Now we can live our "Eternal life" even before we pass from this earth... Oh the grace of God!  Jesus said, "He that hath the Son, hath eternal life abiding in him already." Are you afraid of death? Then you still under it's sting!  Get set free through the liberty that Christ brings.  receive Him today and believe that He is that eternal life you are looking for.

The power of death..how was it deactivated?

Power of the Lord's Prayer

When the disciples asked Jesus, "Teach us to Pray", Jesus just began praying... "Our Father which art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name...."   This powerful prayer outlines God's way to approach the throne.  It is simple, powerful, pointed and anointed! This is also a kingdom prayer.  It concludes with God's authority over all things..and this is kingdom!  I have been using this prayer for years to teach the body of Christ how to pray the way Jesus prayed.  I encourage you to follow the pattern Jesus Himself gave us.  This also has been one of the most powerful series I have given over the years. You can find it on my youtube channel.  You can also listen live, right now, to our live streaming radio broadcast on KBBNetwork on your "APP" on your phone.  If you have not downloaded this app go to you google "Play Store" or iphone store and download it under "KBBNetwork" search.  God is using this wonderful tool to reach the world.  We get reports from Russia and China and thousands listen world-wide.  I challenge you take the steps that Jesus taught us in how to pray.  You can also listen below to the teaching on the "Lord's Prayer".  I invite you as well to consider becoming a student at Kingdom Life University.

Actor Jim Caveizel almost died during the shooting of "The Passion"

The video below tells Jim's own testimony of how he faced death while shooting "The Passion of the Christ" movie with Mel Gibson.  He got sick with double pneumonia while shooting the cross scene.  He lost many pounds going from 201  to 165 lbs. His shoulder kept coming out of joint.  He was accidentally struck by the cat of 9 tails during the scourging scene and it left a 14 inch gash in his back.  While on the cross he was struck by lightning.  The doctor told Mel Gibson that Jim was turning blue and dying and could die during the final scene.  Mel asked Jim if he wanted to continue shooting.  Jim said he would pray and ask God.  He decided that if he died it was OK and he was a peace with that.  They shot the scene and he lived. Jim had to go through heart surgery following the movie.  He had began to turn blue because his heart was failing.  He shares his compelling testimony at the Rock Church in San Diego, California of all that he went through. The video below gives that story.  Jim tells that suffering is sometimes necessary to accomplish God's will. He knew it was his calling to shoot this movie.  He prayed every day and fasted and stayed in the presence of God for strength.  He gives a strong witness of the power of Christ to set us free from ourselves.

Passion of the Christ - He Is Risen!

Isaiah 53:1 - 11  "Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?  And as a root out of dry ground.  He has no form or comeliness; and when we see Him, there is no beauty that we should desire Him.  He is despised and rejected by men, a Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.  And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him;  He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.  Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted.  But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.  All we like sheep have gone astray: We have turned every one, to his own way;  And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.  He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before its shearers is silent, so He opened not His mouth.  He was taken from prison and from judgment, and who will declare His generation?  For He was cut off from the land of the living; for the transgressions of My people He was stricken.  And they made His grave with the wicked- but with the rich as His death, because He had done no violence, nor was an deceit in His mouth.  Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise Him; He has put Him to grief.  When you make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in His hand.  He shall see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied.  By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many for He shall bear their iniquities."
