Jesus walked in divine favor with the Father by embodying absolute obedience, righteousness, and love for the Father's will, which he "learned" through suffering and perfected through His life, death, and resurrection. His consistent alignment with the Father's heart and purpose, demonstrated in all His words and deeds, brought glory to God and showed His perfect Sonship. This profound relationship and flawless execution of His divine mission resulted in God's enduring favor and exaltation of Jesus. Jesus always did the Father's will, did the Father's works and spoke the Father's word. This alignment allow Him to walk in heavenly power while on earth. He, in fact, translated heaven to earth in power and great glory. He taught us how to walk in kingdom truth.

How did Jesus receive His anointing? Jesus was anointed of the Holy Spirit at His baptism in the Jordan River, marking the beginning of His public ministry. As He came up out of the water, the heavens opened and the Spirit of God descended upon Him in the form of a dove, and the Father’s voice declared, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased” (Matthew 3:16–17). This moment was not just symbolic but a divine impartation of power and authority. The Holy Spirit equipped Him to preach the gospel, heal the sick, cast out demons, and demonstrate the Kingdom of God on earth. His anointing set Him apart as the Messiah, the One chosen to fulfill God’s redemptive plan, and it was through the Spirit’s empowerment that He carried out every miracle, teaching, and act of obedience to the Father. There are also some discussions concerning when Jesus actually received His anointing. He Himself proclaimed when He came out of the desert, He entered the synagogue and read from Isaiah the prophet and this was the moment He was anointed. He said, "This day has this scripture been fulfilled in you eyes". It was after His temptation in the wilderness. Either way, at His baptism or following His temptation in the wilderness in the synagogue, He was definitely anointed of the Father. Acts 10:28 "How that Jesus of Nazareth, whom the Father anointed with the Holy Spirit and power, went about healing all that were oppressed of the devil, for God was with Him."

You should be walking in healing power for yourself and others 24/7. This truth transforms you life. Dig deeper, and don't just live on the shallow truth, cast the net into the deep waters.

Hebrews reveals the supreme place Christ has over the prophets, the angels, Moses, Abraham and the new covenant Christ brings us. Hebrews 11 is the greatest chapter on faith in the bible. There are 17 great testimonies of men and women who believed the promises of God. We have a greater revelation in the person of Christ. Christ is better than even the promises. Our faith can be strong in Christ and what He has done for us. He gave us a greater sacrifice than any in the Old covenant.
