Jesus "hour" has come

Mark 14 continues with the life of Jesus. Jesus understood the Father's timing and He now confesses, "My hour has come..."  It was a time of preparation for His betrayal by Judas, denial by Peter and anointing by the woman who valued Jesus so much she poured a whole years worth of salary of precious spikard on Jesus head.  How much do you value Jesus?  It shows daily in how we focus our love and affections on Him. Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also says the Bible.  Giving to Jesus sacrifically actually increase your capacity to love Him.  The people around this woman said, "what a waste this was... the perfume could have been sold and the money given to the poor." The bible said she was "greatly criticized" for pouring this valuable spikard perfume on Jesus. But they didn't understand the value Jesus had in her heart.  When other women went to the grave after Jesus rose from the dead and the grave was empty, they came to anoint Him with special spices and perfume.  But His body was gone!  It was this woman who had the privilege to anoint Jesus.  Jesus said, "Because you have done this, you shall be known as a memorial forever.."  She left her mark with her sacrifice of love and we are still talking about her gift today. Again I ask, "How much do we value Jesus?"  Enough to give Him a whole years salary?  You can value Him by building intimacy with Him.  He desires this more than gifts of gold. This teaching will give you greater revelation on "your time".
